brother  There is something about Brother (Aniki in the Japanese version) that both annoys and charms me. His mohawk is cool, I love it that he learned Spiran just because he wanted to talk to Yuna, he is overprotective about Rikku, his accent is funny, and at times even his shouts (squeals?) are cool. But the way his body bends in X-2 bugs the hell out of me, his love for his cousin is kinda yucky, and him shouting can get a little tiring after a while. What to do?Anyway, Rikku and Brother. They do care about each other, but I think at times they have a sort of love-hate -relationship. They often fight and bicker because of differences in their views of the world, and Rikku might be a little disgusted with Brother because of Yuna. In turn, Brother really does not like Gippal, who Rikku is very comfortable with. And when they agree....hoo boy. It's scary. Rikku and Brother are both very hyper people when provoked, and when they get together it's even worse. Not to mention their plans are doomed to fail at some point, and they drag the rest of the team along to the crazyness. Other than that, they're pretty normal siblings. Even though Brother sent a machina at Rikku, and she in turn likes to shout at Brother to shut up. Yeah. Perfectly normal. | |
