Layout

The first design to feature on Rapture was made by the talented Vivian under my own specific, close instructions. It uses my personal favorite official artwork of Selphie, which, for being fully black & white, heavily influenced the overall color scheme, although some orange was added in for good measure (a small touch I'm in love with).

This layout was coded in divs and features lyrics from Who Knows, a song by Avril Lavigne off her 2004 album, Under My Skin:

In the inevitable eventuality that you are wondering, yes, I do like Avril, despite the fact that she definitely doesn't fall under any of my favorite music genres (which include alternative rock and some heavy metal). Besides, the lyrics fit the happy-go-lucky feeling of the layout, and seemed to be an accurate expression of Selphie's optimistic, joyful outlook on life.

Design and basic divs coding by Vivian, CSS and all the rest by yours truly. Rapture, and this layout in particular, have been optimized for Mozilla Firefox, although testing on Internet Explorer revealed no problems either. View a screenshot of what it should look like here.
