Wondering who owns the genius mind behind this shrine? ...No? Oh well, I'll tell you anyway!

My (real) name is Luísa; I was born on the fifteenth of May in 1989, and I am a medical student in the beautiful city of Porto, Portugal, also my birthplace, which I love deeply. As you may have guessed by now, Portuguese is my first language, but I'm also fluent in English (...well, I will let you be the judges of that) and can pull off enough French and Spanish to survive when my life depends on it. I love to travel, particularly through Europe (Amsterdam and Prague being my favorites), and hope to do a lot more of it when I'm a rich-ass doctor.

I have a strong passion for literature, music, cinema and RPG's, my tastes usually falling on the dark/complex side of the specter: Wuthering Heights, Milan Kundera, Placebo, Crash and the Final Fantasy series are, respectively, my favorite novel, author, band, film and video games. Among the latter, I am particularly fond of the seventh installment (which my all-time favorite video game character, Aerith, is from), VIII being a close second. On a side note, I am also a big fan of the unexplicably underrated Final Fantasy V: what's wrong with you, people!?

Anyway, yours truly would love to take in all the cats and kittens in the world, but, for now, I own one calico female called Pakika that has been with us since 2002 and has far too much personality for her own good; since I don't live with my parents anymore, I only get to see her on weekends, and actually miss her a lot for the rest of the week. ~~I am a sad person.~~ Other than that, it can be said that I am a potential alcoholic and sex addict with a couple of serious issues, but those are definitely subjects to be discussed elsewhere.
